FAQ

1. Ganesh Festival is months away, why should I pre-order in March?

Our murtis are air‑dried naturally and painted in five layers, each requiring its own drying time. The clay drying itself takes nearly 30 days depending on monsoon moisture. From start to finish, including detailing and shipping, it’s a meticulous 5‑month process.

We suggest pre‑ordering so you can,

  • Skip last‑minute store‑hopping,
  • Get the shape, colors, personalize and get idol you desire
  • Plan your décor
  • Save valuable time - especially on a weekday, avoid rushing the rituals!

2. What are your eco‑friendly Ganpati idols made of?

Our idols are crafted from natural clay (शाडू माती) and papier‑mâché, that make it lighter dissolves easily in water, ensuring a safe and eco‑friendly visarjan.

3. Can I customize my idol?

Absolutely. Choose posture, size, color style, ornaments, minor structural changes, drapery, stone jewels, personalization and more — your Bappa, your way.

4. I liked an idol shape in 20 inches, can you make it in 12 inches?

Unfortunately, no. Papier‑mâché murtis are made using separate molds for each body part, and every size requires its own complete set of molds. Changing the height means recreating all molds, which is expensive and not practical for a single order. Still, let us know — if there’s enough interest, we can create it.

5. Do I need to pay in advance?

No advance or commitment is required to pre‑book.

6. Are the idols safe for home visarjan, and how does the process work?

Yes. Our eco‑friendly idols are made with non‑toxic, water‑soluble colors and are completely safe for home visarjan. They dissolve naturally in a bucket or tub, making the process simple, clean, and respectful.

To perform a clean visarjan, immerse the idol in a bucket of water and let it dissolve at its own pace. The time required depends on the idol’s size, water quantity, and water temperature. Stirring the water gently helps the idol break down faster. Once dissolved, the clay can be used for your plants or garden.
